How Rent Works

A little certainty about the essentials leaves more room for everything else. Read the housing information in your game and record both the amount and its billing period.

The weekly planner expects a weekly rent amount. If your game displays a different period, convert it before adding it to the plan.

When Rent Is Due

Check the due date or timing shown in your housing information and make it part of your routine. The fieldguide checklist is a local reminder; it does not track events or payments in the game.

Daily Costs

Keep food, travel and other everyday spending together. A daily estimate should include the costs you expect on a typical day.

The planner multiplies this amount by seven. Avoid including the same rent payment in both “Rent this week” and “Living costs per day.”

How to Budget Around Rent

Illustrative week

Set aside the essentials first.

₦2,400weekly rent
+
₦700daily living costs

That is ₦7,300 in weekly costs. These are example amounts; replace them with your own.

A Few Everyday Questions

Where can I find current rent prices?

Use the housing information in your game. We will only add published prices when we have a source, a verification date and a clear billing period.

What if my weekly income is not enough?

Try your numbers in the planner. Compare one more shift or a different estimate of everyday spending. A starting balance may cover a shortfall for a while, but it does not change the weekly difference.
